App Description

I wanted to share my recent SaaS launch —it’s been quite intense these past few days, and I hope some of you find it helpful. I spent a few weeks developing this product, then pushed it live three days ago. My plan was to focus on a Product Hunt release (January 14, 2024) and leverage social platforms like Reddit, LinkedIn, X (Twitter). The main goal was to test market appetite quickly and spark some organic growth.

I ended up as the #15 Product of the Day on Product Hunt. That’s not too bad, but I noticed how competitive it can get. Once you’re live, you’re swamped with offers for paid upvotes, and it can feel like a disadvantage if you’re a solo founder without a huge network. Despite that, two days after the launch, I got a surprising traffic spike from the well-known AI newsletter Superhuman—they featured my product as one of their “5 Most Productive Tools”! That extra bit of exposure gave me a real boost.

To celebrate, I posted the news on X. Unexpectedly, that post went viral, reaching around 170k views and 1,000 likes—far more than I’d imagined. The result was a quick surge of new sign-ups, bringing me to 375 founders using the platform just 3 days after launch. So far, it’s $0 in revenue, but I’m excited to see where this all leads.

My next focus is on monitoring retention to see if people find long-term value and of course improving the product!
