The problem with most social media apps is the endless, overwhelming noise. We thought a modern social media app should be all about your relations with friends or family. On Ping, you can post “pings”, which are small text or photo updates, which are only visible to your friends. Nothing you post is ever public, and your profile can’t be searched for (the only way to add new friends is by special one-time codes)
Project Overview
Ping is a new social media app designed to focus on close relations with friends or family, differentiating itself from the overwhelming noise of most social media platforms. It allows users to post “pings”, small text or photo updates visible only to friends, ensuring privacy and exclusivity. Currently available only for iOS, with plans for an Android version in the future.
