App Description
I am in the very early stages of building a productivity overlay to help you stay focused. I am a junior software dev and I find it very difficult to break down a big feature into really small tasks. I want to build a tool that will give me analytics on EOD to review the tasks that I took a lot of time to complete, which would help me put conscious effort to breakdown tasks. Maybe a pomodoro like technique would be helpful.
The other few features that i had in mind were make focus groups with your friends, and see icon indicator on the overlay to see who is active with you, leaderboard on the time spent in focus, and focus streaks on a day to day basis.
I know there’s a ton of apps that do this but most of them are on web and I personally don’t like to go to the web to tick off or see the task I am at (Maybe its just a me problem). Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated. You can be as blunt as you want lol
It is an over saturated market, but I am done just waiting for me to come up with “right” idea to start building.
