App Description
Hi everyone,
I’ve just started working on an open-source project called InBrief, an app that sends personalized daily email summaries of the news channels you follow. It retrieves updates from YouTube channels, Twitter accounts, and LinkedIn pages, categorizes them by topic, and summarizes the content using the OpenAI API.
Since the project is in its early stages, I’m already facing challenges with API rate limits, especially for Twitter and LinkedIn. These limitations could make it hard to scale the app as I develop it further. Upgrading to paid API tiers might be an option later, but for now, the project is on a tight budget.
Iโm looking for advice from anyone who has tackled similar problems. Are there ways to:
- Optimize API usage effectively?
- Distribute requests across multiple accounts while staying within terms of service?
- Use third-party tools or services to extend API limits?
Since Iโm just getting started, any tips, suggestions, or even alternative approaches would be incredibly helpful!
