After getting frustrated with scrubbing through hour-long videos to find specific information, I built askvids.com – you paste any YouTube URL and ask it questions like “what did they say about X?” or “what are the main points?”
Some fun example uses:
- Getting key takeaways from long podcasts in seconds
- Finding specific segments in technical talks without watching the whole thing
- Quickly extracting code examples from programming tutorials
It’s my first ever launch and completely built from scratch (Python/Flask + basic HTML/CSS/JS).
