App Description
i dont know whats happening and I wonder how long this ride will last.
I have been building software products for a few years and always spent a lot of time on the MVP.
After seeing the βbuild fastβ posts on reddit, I wanted to try launch something quick and focus on marketing instead.
The hype around directories made me wonder if I can profit off it so I built boostmy.page and did everything differently than usually.
1) I built the website in one weekend
2) made it as minimalistic as possible, there is nearly no backend (no databases, etc..)
3) had no product, only my time as a service
4) focused on marketing using social media and dmβsI did not have huge expectations and i dont really have any huge advice on how to replicate this, but I needed to share the surprise of how doing things differently and just seeing what sticks worked.
Do you have any similar experience? Is launching fast really the trick or just luck?
